The SDSDC is an sporting dog breed
dog club dedicated to furthering the advancement of the
Sporting Breeds in the field.
The SDSDC is comprised primarily of
amateur dog trainers and handlers. Each month, we hold a
membership meeting.
Our events consist of training days, safety shoots, picnics,
seminars, or sometimes a shoot to retrieve or other
competitive type of event.
All events are planned with the goal of learning, having
fun, and maybe a little friendly competition thrown in at
times.
Our club welcomes new members and enjoys the opportunity to
help and support them. As a new member, you will be
encouraged to learn all aspects of the “training
experience.” For example, how to be safe during training.
There are always friendly folks willing to assist and help
as you jump in.
