In the Field
Rafael and Remington
My first time jump shooting ducks in ditches in Mexico and I had a blast. I finally got to shoot the prized mallard ducks along with quail and dove.
Mike and MollyHere's a money shot from Mike, taken during waterfowl season. He says, "...here is a picture of Molly last week at my ranch in Oregon. She made three water retrieves after crashing through ice along the river. Two Buffleheads and a Scaup." Nicely done!
January Junior Pheasant HuntThanks to all of those who volunteered at the DFW Junior and Family pheasant hunts. Randy Domingos submitted this photo from January's event:
Three happy hunters. Steve and Andrew Harris with Wyatt at the January DFW Family Hunt. It was their first hunt and they were both able to harvest a bird.

John Minikus helped plant birds all day; invited to banquet, and will be given some general raffle tickets.
New BusinessEvent in January
Randy proposes: If birds are available, it would be nice to do another event after hunting season. Possibly similar to Bird Dog Challenge.
Banquet date change proposal
Randy proposes that we move the banquet to later in the year, perhaps April, August, or September, so that hunting seasons, holiday seasons, and other things would not impede, absorb funds, etc.
Ed not present
Trevor would like to work up some new logos to present to the club in order to update the look.
