Sad Goodbyes

The Greenwells' beloved Sophie had to put down in January, due to her liver enzymes being through the roof. She was born in August 2005. Photo courtesy of Ron Dotson.

The Artes family lost Gunner in January as well, to old age. Gunner is on the SDSDC Pointing Dog perpetual trophy for his Classic win in 2010. He also placed second in 2011. Photos courtesy of Randy Domingos.

DFW Junior Pheasant Hunt

My thanks to everyone who helped make the 2016 DFW Junior Pheasant Hunt a great success in Warner Springs yesterday, January 10th.  A special thanks to Ed Marr, Bryan Bonas (and John), Pat Hornbrook, Ken Scruggs, and of course all the dogs!  The kids had a great time and a few pheasants were taken.  A great day introducing the kids to pheasant hunting over dogs.
Thank you again!
